Helicopter adventure in Vegas

We all met in Vegas for my daughter Julie and Darrins wedding. I pre arranged with John and Norma a helicopter ride over the Canyon. Martin and Melinda came along for the ride too. What I didn't realise was that we had to board a tiny plane to get over to the helicopter. What a scary experience but John laughed all the way. Then a boat on the Collorado river which I didn't expect. When would we get to this hellicopter? It was blazing hot out there then along came the hellicopter. I began to panic but John as usual brought humour into the moment. I fell backwards out as i tried to get in which gave him a laugh as the man pushed me back in. All squashed in off we went WOW!! John humoured and scared us all the way.It was very late when we got back and the wedding was the next morning. Julie had been worried incase we didn't come back. We explained our plight (flight) experience to her. Good laugh months later when i heard that Julie had told her work colleagues that we had jumped out of a plane. Think she thought we had to parachute out of the small plane to the hellicopter. Ah well stories get muddled when told by John and me. What great memories we all have of John.
