Condolence: Pegi was a large part of my life growing up as my first ballet teacher. She was a wonderful teacher and taught me many valuable lessons such as respect & discipline but mostly she fueled and encouraged a love for dance that became a major part of my life. She not only did this for me but many young girls growing up in Niagara. I have many fond memories of my time spent as a student of The Shaw Festival School of Dance. Thank you Miss Clarkson. Tim all of our thoughts are with you and your family. She will be greatly missed. All our best Viviane, Jane, Rob, Madison & Ben

Condolence: Pegi danced through life - whether it was literally or figuratively. Ballet was her passion, her thing of beauty, her soul and her escape.

All the little aspiring ballerinas adored her - my 5 year old daughter was one of them.

Family gatherings, such as a roast beef dinner on Sunday, were very important to her.

She was a practical gal too. One example, I was recovering from a life-threatening operation and she arrived at my door with a large packages of toilet paper and paper towel!
She has taken her last step in life and I'm sure it was a plie!

Condolence: My mum and I were talking about Pegi this afternoon. When I was a little redheaded girl in Niagara going in to ballet classes in St. Catharines on Saturday mornings with the Riggs, I think I was in love with Pegi Clarkson! She was who I wanted to be. Such memories....
