1985 and Pegi

I first met Pegi when she was hired to work for the company I worked at, PEC Inc.  She and I struck up a friendship quickly and when the company went into receivership we kept in touch.  She actually bought the outfit for my baby shower that I brought my baby girl home from the hospital in and we still have that outfit in my daughter's memory box.  Not to mention that my daughter is almost 28 and embarking on her PhD in Denmark later this year.  As Brittany was growing up Pegi was always a part of her life.  We would spend weekends in Niagara on the Lake at Pegi's home and Pegi was a favourite "aunt" although no blood relation, to Brittany.  We both have many and fond memories of Pegi and our time with her.  Although I didn't know of her passing until yesterday I will always cherish the times we did spend together and the many, many memories of the friendship we shared.  It didn't matter how often we spoke or got together over the last several years as we just picked up where we left off the last time.  That is a true friend.

You will be missed my friend.

Toni
