My friend Pegi

Remembering Pegi....graceful, funny, beautiful, gracious, sweet tempered, generous,..... unique!

I wish we had had more time to spend together. Our last visit was in Siesta, we had a few drinks, (ice cold white wine always!) and a lovely meal out, lots of laughs, and general mischief making. She was always so welcoming and gracious to me.....I admired her spunk, her love of dance and culture, her tenaciousness.

When Peg and Jim led a tour of wine lovers including me and my husband, through Napa and Sonoma one year, she and I were the only cigarette smokers...probably in the entire state, as it was illegal to smoke anywhere, even in your own car.! We would quietly sneak out to the bushes and happily share a ciggy, I am sure the smoke billowing out from the bushes alarmed any number of people! I dont smoke anymore, havent for many years, but I always remember that she and I had way more fun...probably because we were so naughty!

Farewell my friend, I will miss you.
