Barrie will be sorely missed in our lives. He was a special person, a gentleman at all times and an example to us all. it is said that a person can be judged by the friends he has made. Barrie had made friends everywhere he went, to the point that the BBC Port Captain in any port in Canada and the Great Lakes tended to be called Barrie initially.
