It was our good fortune when in February of 2001 we became Pat's neighbours. One of my first remembrances of her was when she was painting the doors to her cellar (looking as she always did glamorous). As I approached, her head bobbed up and she said "hello Mrs" (her nickname for me) I laughed that a famous actress was getting such pleasure from doing her annual painting of garden furniture. She said "I'm a glamorous actress don't you know!. We laughed and continued to laugh together as we gardened and went in search of plants and trees She became a part of our family and was loved by my granddaughters. We will miss her more than words can say. Our hearts go out to Heather and all who knew and loved her.
