Mr. Sauro not only upset my life...he changed it forever. I am a RTA'58 grad. I grew up in a 'soap opera' radio only family. For the first week of classes with this man I writhed and twitched in agony to Beethoven, Liszt, etc. Next week during class and seeing my agony he walked down the aisle, put his hand on my shoulder and said: "All I'm asking is that you listen." That did it! At the end of my classes I was offering a speech of film music. I made my career in Advertising and there is no doubt that I owe a measure of credit to Mr. Sauro when I created my campaign (film and music track) for "When you eat your Smarties do you eat the Red ones last?" gary gray Finally I get a chance to say 'Thanks'.
