To those who loved Bob "Teddy Bear" Grimm: I grew up with Bob in Oakville, and he was always larger than life to both males and females. All the girls wanted him, and all the guys wanted to be like him. There was only one Bob Grimm; the one with the unmistakable smile; the devil in his eyes; the best kisser in town. I saw him two years ago and he told me he was in remission. He looked fantastic. He told me the joys in life consisted of being with his children, Bonnie's children, and his grandchildren. He told me he was never unfaithful to his wife; quite a feat for Bob!! Bonnie, I never met you, but I thank you for being in his life. He loved you and respected you. He had a wonderful life with you and the children. I was a wild child in Oakville, and, Bob, as well as Dick, made sure my best friend Marilee Kitson and I stayed out of trouble. He was a protector of the people he cared for. He was a gentle soul. I will miss him. My heart goes out to Bob's family. When you want to think of Bob, turn on a little Herbie Hancock.
