Condolence: Heather, Whitney, Chris, Grandma, mom and Laurie. I am so sad to hear of the loss of my Uncle Peter. He was so funny bright and generous. I just wish Lowell could have known him more. I am so sorry I cannot be there to share some memories and celebrate such a rich and vibrant life. Please know I am thinking of you all here in Vancouver and hope to see you in person soon.

Condolence: Dear Heather.

I just learned of Peter’s untimely passing. I am so sorry.

Peter was a wonderful mentor and colleague, and a true friend. I could always count on him for help and advice - always with his own marvelous touch of humour. The CCCA and my life would certainly not have been the same without him.

I wish I could be with you next Wednesday. Winnipeg seems quite far away at times like this. Please know that I will be there in spirit.

Peter did indeed have an extraordinary life and was, quite simply, an extraordinary man. I will miss him a lot.

Condolence: I am so sorry to hear of Peter's passing. I met him when we were working at Roy Thomson Hall and he became a mentor of mine during my time in arts and cultural management. I remember his sense of humour and solid advice. We have lost a loyal supporter of the arts and a really good man. My condolences go to Heather and his children. I am so sorry for your loss.

Condolence: To Peter's beloved Heather and children, my heart is with you in the loss of Peter. We worked together for some time at the Canada Council and later on some of Peter's any arts projects. He was a dear friend, utterly honest and reliable and so very knowledgeable about everything he took on, but beyond that witty and gracious and giving. A truly good man. I will miss him dearly.
