Welcomed

Back 9 yrs ago this man Welcomed me with open arms.  Thats when i came from Tennessee to meet Peter the very first time face to face.  Ed brought Peter to the airport to get me.  I can remember it was like i was in a tour bus with a very knowledgeble tour guide showing me places and telling me about the history behind everything.

He wanted southern cooking from me te next trip I came up.  So i made fried chicken he seemed to love that.  I took care of him Peter and Ed Jr.  Made sure they were fed lol while the rest of the family was in Barbados at Chris and Michelles wedding.  He alwys made me fel welcome and like i was part f the fmily even though then i was not.  Little did i know that in the next few months peter ould as me to be his bride.

Dad stepped up to the plate telling me and assuring me they wnted to be a part of the wedding planning.  We had a beautiful wedding.  Dad went as far as getting a gag book for baby photos.  Boy   did he find that hilarious.  He talked about that ALOT WHEN AM I GOING TO GT GRANDCHILDREN?

I remember finding out we were pregnant the first time and giving them the news Dad seemed so thrilled.  We had to break it to them several months later that i had miscaried the devesttion in his voice was horible but as always he tlked nd guided us a few months later we were lessed again andthis time has Riley.  The look on his face the joy in his voice and the liht in his eyes when he tlked about him or looked at him was priceless.  All thse photo lbums dad picked up have been filled with memies for Riley.  hes only 3 and only seen him 4 weeks of hs whole life but he knows who grandpa and grndma are by the pictures.

Dad would always talk about the latest events going on.  History if course That man loved nd knew hs hstory.  Uncle Wesley and him had great conversations all te time when they came down.  two history buffs to peas in a pod.

I also was told that he had never had a birthday party so when he was down it was his birthday so we had a cookout and cake  suprise party for him.  I enjoyed that very much he looked like he was having a good time.  Blew out all hs candles.

I loved going to the avondale airy bar he took us all out for banana splits!  That was a grat time he alwyas made great memories with me.  He took us to swiss chalet to eat when we ame to visit it as great.  He also ook us out on a doube date peter nd i Carol and him.  We had steak at his favorite steakhouse.  Lots of places he introduced me too.

I thank him and carol for having pete and letting me become a part of the family.  I have alwys felt lved from the get go and it all started with him.  Dad you will be missed greatly by all.  I promise to not get around BEARS LOL!
