It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Christine on Wednesday, February 12, 2014, at her home in Niagara-on-the-Lake, at age of 66. Beloved wife of Victor. Loving mother of Suzanne Dyck (Alex Vreken). Dear sister of Russell Pinder (Chris) of Braintree, Essex England. Aunt of Mark Pinder (Amie), James Pinder (Rachel Thrower), Annette Pinder (Jason Grunwell). Great aunt of Mia Pinder. Fondly remembered by mother-in-law Maria Dyck (late David), brothers-in-law; Peter Dyck (Mary), Heinz Dyck, sisters-in-law; Mary Pankratz (late Henry), Helene Fritz (late Reinhold), Hannelore Krugel (Victor) and Erika Dyck. And also many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Predeceased by her parents George and Monica Pinder.
The family will receive friends at Morgan Funeral Home, 415 Regent St., Niagara-on-the-Lake, on Friday, March 7, 2014 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A service to commemorate Christine's life will be held at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, 323 Simcoe St., Niagara-on-the-Lake, on Saturday, March 8, 2014 at 11 a.m. Cremation has taken place. Those who wish may make a memorial donation to St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, Lincoln County Humane Society or Walker Family Cancer Centre.
