Remembering Dad from his little girl.......

Dad I looked at you as my hero (“The Wind Beneath my Wings”) always. You knew me better than anyone else. You inspired me, made me laugh, cry, think, yell and with all that said – you did a good job. I am the woman that I am today because of you and mom.

The special moments I remember with my dad…….Sitting at the back seat floor of the car holding his hand while he was driving.

I asked you for a Barbie swimming pool and you dug a hole in the backyard and threw a green garbage bag on it and filled it with water and said “there’s your pool”. I had many great Barbie Pool parties!

You “suggesting (yelling)” at me to learn how to cook cause I always made you Peas whenever mom was travelling.

I am forever indebted to you and mom for helping to raise AJ. All those walks you took with AJ from him as a baby in the carriage to him walking beside you as a child.

You were my rock during all those days at Sick Kids and especially during AJ’s heart surgery.

Now the hard part, this is when real life took a turn with the loss of mom and with new journey’s beginning for our families BUT you will always be my Dad and I will always be your Molly.
