TREVOR SMYTH - ONE OF LIFE'S GREAT CHARACTERS

It was with complete shock that I heard that Trevor has left us and thank you Richard Dickson for letting me know. As a DJ Trevor used to supply me with records from his infamous Music Box in Ballymoney. I had implicant trust in him choosing from the batches of records he'd receive each week as he knew my tastes and needs and he never let me down with a fresh batch delivered to me every week. But then that was part and parcel of the great businessman that he was. He also called upon me when he was organising events for the Chamber of Commerce for which he never ceased to come up with "outside the box" ideas. From laser lightshows to camels at Christmas it was always a guessing game as to what wonderful idea Trevor would dream up next. He was one of life's great characters with a generous sense of humour and a wonderful take on life and I am very sad to hear of his passing. With much affection, Brian Moore
