Dear Nancy & family I wish to express my deepest sympathy for the loss our your Dad & the loss of my very dear friend & boss when he worked with me in the Canadian Embassy Dublin. Since that time your Dad had written to me every year with his lovely detailed letters & Christmas cards without fail. I phoned him some months ago to tell him I was going to Canada to visit my son Sam in B.C. & would call in to see him on my way back to Toronto before heading home. Sadly it wont happen now. I must say Stan was a true gentleman & I always enjoyed his interesting stories & his jest for life. I will miss him. With sincere sympathy Ann Geddes
