Condolences

Condolence From: Harry Huizer
Condolence: John was my first Physical Education in grade 9 at NDSS.
He was an imposing figure and was a good teacher who kept us under control. What a joy it was to have played so much golf with John over the last years. We often fondly talked about those teaching days. John was a very good golfer and he was never at a loss of words on any topic. He was so interesting whether on the course or at the clubhouse. A couple of weeks before his passing we played together and John shot a 40 with bogies on the last 2 holes but a birdie on #3. It was a great round of golf and we tied that day but somehow he got the awards...deservingly. John had a wonderful sense of humour and he played the game with class. I will miss him as will so many others. My condolences to the family...he was a wonderful and highly respected friend of so many!

Condolence: Diane, Larry and I would like to express our sincere condolences. We remember playing on Friday night couples league opening day with you and John a few years ago. Although we only got two holes completed before the rain came we do remember the lovely conversation we had in the clubhouse afterward. Please take care.

Condolence: We are all still in shock here in Oshawa as we were expecting to meet up with Hinch and Lady Di next August in Saratoga. So much fun to be around. So much energy and love of life. He always had a twinkle in his eye. Great guy with a great family. We were all so fortunate to have enjoyed his presence.
