CANHAM, Jessie – Passed away peacefully at the Greater Niagara General Hospital on January 6, 2015 at the age of 87. Loving wife of Gordon (predeceased) for 69 years. Dear mother of Janice Watson (Bob), Judy Riley (John), Susan Kennington (Pete),Gary Canham (Linda), the late Donald Canham and mother-in-law to Judy Canham. Jessie will be sadly missed by her 11 grandchildren as well as their spouses, 33 great grandchildren and 1 great-great granddaughter. Predeceased by 4 sisters. Also missed by many nieces, nephews and great friend Ethel Lowes. Jessie worked as a hostess at the Skylon Tower for many years and was a member of the Opti-Mrs. She enjoyed her many winters in Florida with friends.
Family will receive friends at the MORSE & SON FUNERAL HOME 5917 Main Street, on Friday January 9th 7-9pm and Saturday 10- 11am. A funeral service will follow visitation in the chapel on Saturday morning at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at Lundy’s Lane Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to Make a Wish Foundation, Heartland Forest or The Mark Preece Family House.
