BAU, Helen Jeanine (Druzkowski) - With her family by her side on Wednesday, September 25, 2013, at the Niagara-on-the-Lake Hospital, at the age of 77. Beloved wife of the late Manfred “Freddie” Bau. Loving mother of Joseph (Lara), Maria Bau-Coote (Paul) and Nicole Skelton (Dan). Loving Babi of Jacob, Rachel and Luke Bau and Kiara “Kiki” Nestor and dear sister of Mimi Bittman (Wayne) and their children. Fondly remembered by many cousins and friends in France, Poland and USA. Helen Jeanine was a long time member of the CWL of St. Vincent de Paul Church, Canvassed for both The Canadian Cancer Society and Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario. If a hug was needed Helen was always there. There are so many individuals that the Bau family would like to thank including Ruby, “Pani”, Dr. Viviers and all of the angels at the Niagara-on-the-Lake Hospital.
The family will receive friends at Morgan Funeral Home, 415 Regent St., Niagara-on-the-Lake, on Friday, September 27th, from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Prayers will be held at the funeral home on Friday at 3 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Vincent de Paul Church, 73 Picton St. on Saturday, September 28, 2013 at 11 a.m. Rite of Committal will follow in the church cemetery. Those who wish may make a memorial donation to the Niagara-on-the-Lake Hospital Foundation.
