Condolence: Mary - I am so sorry for your loss. I cannot imagine the pain of losing your child and my heart aches for you. Some of my most enjoyable memories with the family were of listening to you and Hardy chat. Your son was a wonderful father-in-law when I was with Dave and I will always consider you both to be family.
Susan and Andrew - the loss of your brother must be so devastating. I remember listening to his many stories of you all growing up - he loved you both so much and expressed so much pride in you and your accomplishments. My deepest sympathies to you and your families.
Dave - for many years I witnessed the bond between you and your Dad and the love between you was a wondrous thing. I loved your Dad a great deal. He was always kind and I really enjoyed our conversations about art and photography and how proud I was when he complimented my printing in my technical drawings. It was high praise indeed. Hardy set a great example which you follow every day with our son. My sorrow for you and your wife is beyond measure.
Iain - my son, your grandpa was an amazing man and I know how very much you will miss him. Hold tight to your memories and listen closely to the stories you hear in the coming days from your relatives - remember that our loved ones live on in our memories and in the stories we share.
My love to all of you, I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.

Condolence: Dave,
No words can fix what you and your family are going through, but know that Hardy's light, humour and kindness live on through you and Iain every single day. I'm so glad I got to meet Hardy, and happier still that he had you to lean on. You have your friends here to lean on now...
My condonlences...
