HUGHES, Elaine Marjorie – February, 14, 1946-July 9, 2018 (Nee Konkal) - Passed away peacefully into the hands of the lord at St. Catharines General Hospital at 12:20 am Monday with family by her side. Predeceased by her husband Gerard (2011) and her father Frank (2003), Elaine is survived by her mother Mary Konkal and her siblings Margarette, Ray (Diane) and Edward (Denise); her nieces Cindy (Rob), Trena (Dan), Noel amd Loni (Dan), her nephews Mark and Luke; and their children Kayla (Rob), Cody, Brandyn, Courtney, Gavin, Ezri, Elsa, Emmett, Christie and Kyle.
Visitation will be at the Morgan Funeral Home, 415 Regent St., Niagara-on-the-Lake on Wednesday July, 11th from 7-9pm. A funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 73 Picton St., NOTL on Thursday July, 12th at 11am. Interment will take place on a later date. Please make a donation to the Canadian Cancer Society in Elaine’s memory in lieu of flowers. The family expresses their deepest gratitude to the nursing and doctoral staff of the oncology ward for their caring and patience.
