I first met Dr Pohorly in 2003 when I was elected as the Provincial Member of Parilament and represented Niagara on the Lake.  Joseph reached out to me and offered to give me and adivce and guidance on the Wine and Grape Growing Industry.  I spent hours with him at his Winery learning and understanding the importance of this industing to Ontario and Canada. I was amazed and with his patience and understanding and how much time he gave to me . Joseph was such a quiet man but I soon realized just how brillaint he was. Often when I was in NOTlL I would stop in at his place without an apointment and he always greeted me with open arms. When I think back to my 10 years as a MPP one of the highlights was  meeting and being friends with Joseph.
