Life Story for Catherine Margaret "Kit" Willey (Conway)

Catherine Margaret "Kit" Willey (Conway)
Willey, Catherine – With her sons holding her hands, Catherine passed away peacefully on December 5th, 2014. Beloved wife of Donald (2006), who she still missed each day; precious mother to George (Pat) and John (Carrol). Adored grandmother to Sarah (Devin), Laura (Kevin) and “wee” Bridget. Survived by well-loved nieces, nephews, Willey family members and her Whelan clan. Catherine was a popular teacher, both in formal education and in seminars following her retirement. Among many other organizations and pursuits, she was a past board member of the Niagara-on-the-Lake Public Library and the Victorian Order of Nurses, and a past president of the Niagara Heritage Quilters Guild and the Amherst Museum Guild. As she would have wished, she was active and enthusiastic with her group of close friends to her final days, and left us peacefully, quietly and with dignity.
Cremation has taken place. Catherine’s family will receive friends at MORGAN FUNERAL HOME, 415 Regent St., Niagara-on-The-Lake from 2-4pm and 7-9pm on Wednesday December 10th. For those who wish, in lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
