GAMULA, Olga – Passed away peacefully at Chateau Gardens Niagara on Saturday November 15, 2014 at the age of 95. Beloved wife of Walter. Loving mother of Fred (Karen), Lisa Whillans (Brian) and Brian. Dear grandmother of Ashley, Jordan and Kylie. Also survived by several nieces. Predeceased by her parents Rev. Dimitri and Ahafia Shumilo and siblings Bob (Betty), Joe (Marge), John, Lizzie, Luba Chish (Dan) and nephew Danny Chish. The family wishes to thank everyone involved over the last 5 years; especially the PSW’s, nurses, staff, volunteers and residents at Chateau Gardens Niagara for their outstanding care, love and laughs extended to Olga and the family. Thank you also to Marguerite for her care and friendship to Mom. Olga will always be remembered for her quiet sense of humour and her care and devotion to Walter and her children.
A funeral service will be held at MORGAN FUNERAL HOME, 415 Regent Street, Friday at 3 p.m. Interment will follow at Niagara Lakeshore Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to Red Roof Retreat would be appreciated.
