LOFGREN, Dorothy (nee Banika) - On Wednesday December 21, 2005, Dorothy peacefully passed away at Millennium Trail Manor in her 87th year. Predeceased by her husband Vernon Cecil and her daughter Priscilla Ann Neufeld. Loving mother of William (Margaret Rose), cherished grandmother of Fred Lofgren, Diane Bradley, Raymond (Sylvia) Neufeld and Laura (Danny) Canal, great grandmother of William, Sarah, Geoffrey, Kyle, Katelynn, Matthew and Samantha and great-great grandmother of William (Jessica) Lofgren. Sister of Mary, Nick, Rose and John. Predeceased by her brother Jim and Alex and her sister Kay, and will fondly be remembered by her many nieces, nephews and friends. Dorothy was a manager at Playtimes Stores for many years. A special thank you to all the staff at Millennium Trail Manor.
Dorothy is at the MORSE & SON CHAPEL of the MORGAN FUNERAL HOMES, 5917 Main Street, where her family will receive friends on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Friday afternoon at 1:30. Interment to follow at Lundy’s Lane Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make a memorial donation to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, Canadian Cancer Society or the Lung Association.
