Condolence From: Mandy Webster
Condolence: To the whole Martin family, I am so sorry - I just learned of the passing of Mr. Martin. He was a wonderfully kind man who always made me feel so welcome in your home and always had such wonderfully entertaining stories to share. He was so lucky to be surrounded by such a close loving family. My thoughts are with all of you.

Condolence: Elizabeth, siblings, Beth and all family members,
I'm so sorry to learn of your dad's passing. I have many fond childhood memories of spending time with your family. Your dad was always patient, kind and generous, insightful, and actively involved with his family and the community. I recall him answering the doorbell very early one Saturday and diplomatically requesting I call on Elizabeth again after 8am. Sending my thoughts, prayers, and heart-felt condolences to each of you at this time. Your dad lived well for 93 years and will be greatly missed.
love Jackie

Condolence: My sympathy to Beth Ann Martin family. From 1962 until 1975 I was a London Police Detective. I have many fond memories of numerous trials and investigations assisting Crown Attorney Mike. He was dedicated and fair with a great sense of humor. My thoughts and prayers are with the family at this sad time. Sincerely,
George Brunton,

Condolence: I was sorry to read about Mike's passing. I knew Mike very well in London in the 60s and 70s when he was the crown and I was a young lawyer doing criminal law as well as much else, which was how it was in those days. Mike was an excellent crown, tough but fair, and made some good practical discretionary decisions when the occasion demanded. And by all accounts, an, excellent judge as well. A fine man with a great career. My condolences to the family.

Condolence From: Ian Hunter
Condolence: To: The Martin Family

In 1980 I was teaching law at Western University when Mike invited me to become a part-time Crown Attorney. I did, and for the next decade it was my privilege to work with, and for, Mike; he was a model of what a Crown Attorney should be: firm, fair, and always supportive of "his" Crowns. I considered him my mentor and friend.

I will not be able to attend the funeral on Saturday but I shall pray for the repose of Mike's soul. My condolences to his family.
