It is with profound sadness that the family of Stephanie Brindle (Halliwushka) announces her passing at St. Catherine’s General Hospital on Tuesday, January 9, 2024, at the age of 75 years.
Stephanie will be forever missed and lovingly remembered by her beloved husband of 47 years Jim Brindle and her children, Jay Brindle and Graham Brindle (Nicole Reamey); her grandchildren, Arlo and Layla; her brothers Mike (Cathy), Walter (Lori) and Joseph (Laurel), and her many nieces and nephews.
She was born to Peter and Mary Halliwushka on August 23, 1948. After graduating from Ryerson University with a degree in food and nutrition, Stephanie dedicated her career to helping others working as dietician at Joseph Brant Hospital for 28 years.
She enjoyed spending weekends with her family skiing in Ellicottville, hosting and attending dinner parties with friends and travelling the world with her husband. Stephanie made the most of her retirement years and made wonderful memories (RV) camping with family, friends and of course the family’s beloved dogs Arthur & Sadi.
A Celebration of Stephanie’s Life will be held at MORGAN FUNERAL HOME, 415 Regent St., Niagara-on-the-Lake, on Saturday, January 13, 2024, from 2-5 p.m. Cremation has taken place.
