Son of the late Rudolph Christian Grabs and the late Charlotte Jacobi of Germany; husband of the late Hildegard (2010); brother of Mona Grabs (Siegfried Dannath-Grabs) of Dresden, Germany; brother-in-law of Joachim Hinzer (Margaret Tilbert) of Fonthill; father of Peter (Jamie) of Thorold, Christine O'Dea (John) of Hastings, Olaf Robert (Michele Tetrault) of Ottawa. Grandfather to Michael, Jennifer, Geoffrey, Richard (Katie), Niall, Brendan, Kieran, Ross. Great-grandfather of Jasmine and Cameron; uncle of Armin Loford of Heidelberg, Germany, Roman Grabs, Stuttgart, Germany and Johnas Hinzer, Niagara Falls. Cremation has taken place. Celebration of his life will be held May 17, 2014 at 3 p.m. Pleasantview, Fonthill.
