Condolence: What a wonderful father you had, Louise,Robin, Michael and Peter! He was great in big ways , but also I remember small neighborly ways. When I had just lived in NOTL for a few years, I remember Norm offering me a drive into work in St. Catharines and back for a week, regaling me with rather worrisome tales of the accidents he had experienced while driving these same back roads; his cooking experiments for those attending the endless meetings Margherita hostessed in their large kitchen; and not to be forgotten, phone bills he paid without a whimper, whenever Margherita needed some witness or other for our Conservancy anti-development destruction hearings . Some of these won and some lost, but all setting a firm foundation for the 30+ years the Conservancy has worked to protect the very special built and natural heritage of the Town. Norm was indeed a very special resident of Niagara-on-the-Lake who left a unique and much valued mark upon this Town and all its residents.

Condolence: May the promise found at Isaiah 25:8 bring some comfort in the death of Norman Charles Howe. "He will swallow up death forever. The Sovereign Lord will wipe away the tears from all faces." Just imagine, no more pain and grief due to the death of a love one! By means of the Kingdom that Jesus Christ taught us to pray for at Matthew 6:9,10; God is going to remove sickness, old age and death from the human family. God's original purpose for the earth being a paradise will be realized.

Condolence: To the Howe Family. My sincere condolences go out to you all. I know how much you will miss your lovely father. What a vibrant, happy, encouraging man. Oh how he loved his wife and what a beautiful family they left behind. Their commitment to our beautiful little town has encouraged so many to get involved and be engaged. They led by example. Arm in arm leading the parade. I am so happy to have known them and how they encouraged me. Mr. Howe rest in peace surrounded by the ones you love. I wish you all the same peace. This town needs more families like you. With love and sadness Kurt

Condolence From: Pat Darte
Condolence: This is for the entire Howe family.

You have been very fortunate to have been brought up by 2 of most dedicated people. Your mother's reputation still lives on and your father served us well overseas.

I know that all of your personalities are a combination of both your parents. You are lucky to have lived and learned by them.

Their souls will carry on in all of you!
