SEMENACH, Nettie - Peacefully, on Wednesday, January 26, 2022 at GNGH with her family by her side, Nettie (Katharine) Semenach (nee Peters) went home to be with the Lord. God finished writing Nettie’s story, a story filled with love, family and faith. We are heartbroken, but we know that she is in a better place.
She is predeceased by her husband George (2012), two children, parents, foster parents, three brothers, sister and many dear friends. She is survived by daughters Janice (Art) Haines, Nancy (Henri) Gingras, Terry Semenach and son Ken Semenach. Much-loved grandmother of Rachel (Florian) Kuznia and Nicole Gingras. She was a special Mom to Honey and Grandma to Ginger. She will be especially missed by scrabble partner, Art.
A special thank you to daughter Terry, who was the best caretaker and friend to Mom. We will miss her always, but will see her again.
Private service and burial will be held through Morgan Funeral Home, Niagara-on-the-Lake. If desired, a memorial donation may be made to World Vision through the funeral home or at www.worldvision.ca, a charity close to Mom’s heart.
