SECO, Maria “Louisa” - Our beloved Luisa Seco passed away on Monday, October 19, 2020 at the age of 82. Luisa was born in Portugal on October 31, 1937 to her parents, Antonio and Georgina Cristovao (both deceased). On December 1, 1957, Luisa and Alipio Carlos Seco were married and they immigrated to Niagara-on-the-Lake on March 15, 1967. For many years, she was a dedicated and valued employee of The Prince of Wales Hotel in Niagara-on-the-Lake. Luisa was the ultimate animal lover having many pets over the years and also housing and feeding many neighbourhood pets and strays.
Luisa is survived by her husband of over 62 years, Alipio aka 'Seco', her sister, Rosa Cristovao, and niece, Isabel Cristovao, both of Toronto, her brother-in-law, Jorge Seco, of Portugal, many nieces and nephews still in Portugal, as well as dear friends, Linda and Michael Freel.
A private Funeral Service and Interment was held on Friday, October 23, 2020.
