WERNER, Lorraine – Passed away peacefully with family by her side at the St. Catharines General Hospital on Saturday March 2, 2019 at the age of 66. Beloved wife of Fred for 44 years. Loving mother of Kelly Werner and Rachel (Brian) Stafford. Caring grandmother of Ryan, Katelyn, Scarlett, Cameron and Reid. Adored daughter of Simone Schlichting. Dear sister of Andre (Debbie) Berriault and Aline (Willy) Van Berlo. Daughter in-law of Erna (and the late George Sr.) Werner. Sister in-law of Linda (Ron) Wiebe, the late George Jr. (Dianna) Werner, Margaret (Jack) Sell and the late Bill (Susan) Werner. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at MORGAN FUNERAL HOME, 415 Regent St., Niagara-on-the-Lake, on Thursday from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm. A Funeral service in Celebration of her life will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church on Friday at 10:30 am. Interment will follow at Niagara Lakeshore Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church or the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
