PREMI, (Nicolichuk) Loretta - Bold and independent to the end, Loretta Premi, aged 91, chose assisted dying in her St. Catharines home on Tuesday February 2, 2021. Loretta lived a full life on her own terms. Always ready for a challenge, she worked as a grocery cashier, a pizza entrepreneur, worked her way up in the federal government to PM2, became a chocolatier, and owned and operated her own bed and breakfast.
In these jobs, people were most important to her. She helped where she could,
and influenced without knowing. She travelled extensively, laughed a great deal, and loved
fiercely. Loretta is deeply mourned by her daughters Jan and Brenda Nicolichuk, Brenda’s life
partner Patrick Farrell, her grandchildren Corey and Hallie Walsh and their father Stephen
Walsh, her brothers John and Julius Premi and his wife Patricia, her nieces and nephews, and pretty much everyone
who knew her. She was truly loved. Arrangements entrusted to MORGAN FUNERAL HOME 415 Regent Street, Niagara-on-the-Lake, ON.
