It was August 17 2007 and my partner and I were playing against Kevan and Stu Young in a Goldup Pairs match.  We were favoured...I thought!  Both Kevan and Stu had handicaps around 20 so we had to give them 10 strokes.  Kevan played like a different man.  He shot 39 on the front 9 which included booming long drives which left me shaking my head.  Kevan ended up shooting 83 which was about 10 strokes below his handicap.  We didn't have a chance and Stu Young was never happier as he sat at the bar after the round stating how he "took care of Huizer"!  But it was Kevan who really took care of Huizer! I shot 74 that day and I needed a 64 to have a chance against Kevan's memorable round.  It was an amazing day and Kevan played an amazing round......There were a few mentions about his high handicap but Kevan claimed it was just one of those days!!
