We are deeply saddened by the loss of Joe, Anita, and Laura. We at Niagara Planning Group got to know Joe best but also greatly appreciated Anita. Unfortunately, we did not know Laura but understood her valuable contribution to NOTL as a volunteer fire fighter. Take care. John
I am thankful that I had the opportunity to work with Anita on the United Way board. Memories of her kindness, generosity and drive to do the right thing will always stay with me.
On behalf of the entire SOCAN family, I would like to express our deepest condolences to the Robertson family. I met Joe and Anita a few years ago, bonding over Joe's love of songwriters, but it did not take long to realize they were special people. Joe made a major impact on the Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame, an enduring part of his legacy and contribution to Canadian culture. - Michael McCarty
My sincere condolences to the Robertson family. As an employee of the Council of Ontario Universities, I had the privilege of working with Joe in his leadership role with the Council of Chairs of Ontario Universities (CCOU). Joe was extremely dedicated to his role with CCOU and his contributions have had long-lasting effects. Joe was very supportive and encouraging of my career aspirations, and played an important role in a recent job change. Joe will be greatly missed.
My sincere and heartfelt condolences to the Robertson family. Joe spent four years volunteering in a strong leadership role of the Council of Chairs of Ontario Universities (CCOU). I worked in support of the group at that time. Joe gave more of himself than he expected of others and was gracious about the contributions of others. It was a privilege to have worked with him.
Our deepest condolences to Clark and Taylor and to all of the family and friends of Joe, Anita and Laura. They will be missed and always remembered by their friends and neighbors at Golden Lake.
