Condolences

Condolence From: Sean Young
Condolence: I'm very sad to hear of Mr Dodson's recent passing. Although I did not get to spend much time with him personally, I certainly got to know Laura quite well in the final year or so of her life, having spent many hours with her at the School in its earliest days. If it was not for them both, I certainly would not be the person I am today. Although I worked at the school, I will always consider myself one of the first students, and if it wasn't for the Dodson's kindness, generosity and passion for heritage, I certainly would not have the variety of knowledge gained from being there at that time, nor had the experiences or met the amazing people that I did - that could and will never be found anywhere else. I will always be very appreciative of the spirit that they established, bringing so much life back to an old house, and creating a home for a new generation of heritage minded people. Only in the distant future will we really get to know how important their efforts truly were, and the legacy they have left behind.
