RATKOVSKY, Helen – Passed away peacefully at home on Sunday October 7, 2018 at the age of 87. Beloved wife of John for 65 years. Loving mother of Ted (Debbie), Tim (Cindi), Tom and Terry. Caring grandmother of Christopher (Bernice), Ryan (Crystle) ,Andy (Danielle), Jason , Krystle, Nathan (Louise) , Lorna, Emily and Natalie. Cherished great-grandmother of Lakelyn, Lila and Hudson. Predeceased by her parents Nicholas and Minnie Paskywee, and her granddaughter Andrea. Helen graduated from Hospital for Sick kids in 1953 as a Registered Nurse and soon married the love of her life and settled in St. Catharines and Niagara on the Lake. Helen was an avid bridge player, volunteer, a patron of the arts and supported many charities.
Cremation has taken place. A funeral service will take place at Grace United Church on Saturday at 11 am. Arrangements entrusted to MORGAN FUNERAL HOME, 415 Regent St. In lieu of flowers those who wish may make a memorial donation to the Hospital for Sick Kids Foundation.
