SUBA, George - Passed away peacefully, with his family at his side on Tuesday, November 27, 2018, at Pioneer Elder Care, St. Catharines in his 91st year. Beloved husband of Else. Very proud Dad of Sandor (Clara) and Susan Mudrik (Michael). Loving Nagy Papa of Angela, Daniel (Amber), Kristina and Madelen. Fondly remembered by nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Sandor and Ester Suba, siblings; Leslie and Kathy, and our children Richard and Kathy. George led an active and dynamic life. He was a Builder/Contractor, member of the Masonic Lodge in St. Catharines, an Author, Poet, active in the Folk Arts Council, the Hungarian Club, member of the Pannonia Choir, Niagara Strings and others, an active community volunteer and a proud Canadian. Special thanks to the attentive, compassionate and kind staff of Pioneer Elder Care. Your caring is appreciated more than you will ever know. Thank you also to Dr. Yelamanchili, Dr. Belgasem and Dr. Arvinte.
The family will receive friends at Morgan Funeral Home, 415 Regent St., Niagara-on-the-Lake, on Friday, November 30, 2018 from 6-8 p.m. Funeral service to be celebrated at Christ Church McNab, 1294 McNab Rd., Niagara-on-the-Lake on Saturday December 1, 2018 at 11:00 am. Burial to follow in the church cemetery. For those who wish, memorial donations to the Walker Family Cancer Centre would be appreciated by the family.
