Condolence: Afterglow (Poem by Helen Lowrie Marshall) I'd like the memory of me To be a happy one. I'd like to leave an afterglow Of smiles when day is done. I'd like to leave an echo Whispering softly down the ways, Of happy times and laughing times And bright and sunny days. I'd like the tears of those who grieve, To dry before the sun Of happy memories I leave Behind - when day is done. I am thankful to have known George, As a teacher, i learned from his stories and watched him share his remembrances with my students. But I am also thankful to have been his friend. I will truly miss you my friend. God Bless.

Condolence: So sorry to hear of George's passing. May memories of your time together bring comfort and strength in the coming days ahead. Like Mary and Linda, I too smile at the memory of "the slipper." Mr. Snider was a true gentleman in every sense of the word and a dear family friend. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Condolence: To the Sniders.... I am saddened by the news of George’s passing. George had a way of lighting up the room where ever he was....he will be missed. I am flooded with wonderful memories of a childhood growing up knowing many occasions would be spent with the Snider Family....it took me many years to know there was a twinkle in his eye not just a slipper in his hand when he would come down the hall to “settle us down” while the grownups were playing cards....During the time that he work for Morgan’s in the Falls he was often in the Regal, Sante too has many wonderful memories of getting to know George over the years. Please accept our sincere condolences; we are thankful to have known such a kind loving man.
