Condolence: I was so sorry to hear of Dave's passing. My sympathies go out to all of you. I will raise a wee dram (or two) in his memory. I worked with Dave in our Projects and Mods days in the mid 90's. I was impressed with his calm and reserved demeanor even when thing were not going well. It was obvious he was working out a solution to the problem in his mind before he spoke but when he did speak you listened.

Condolence From: Bill Clubb
Condolence: My condolences to Dave's family. Dave was about the nicest person you could wish for as an acquaintance and fellow employee. Dave was always quiet but he had the best advice of all when asked, he always employed his wisdom, knowledge, integrity often showing a that little smile letting you know that he was approachable and prepared for any negotiations that may be offered. Dave was by far the best delegate of his time serving The Society of Engineers and Professionals and represented employees Ontario Hydro OPG, Bruce Power. As often is the case for exceptional gentlemen like Dave he may not have been shown the appreciation that he deserved, but he will not be forgotten.

Condolence From: Jeff Bondett
Condolence: My association with David was at the bridge table, first as neophytes attempting to learn the game and then competing as partners. While the established players would describe our play as unconventional, we had a grand time together. He was nothing but supportive and non-judgemental as well as being a cunning gambler. I looked forward each week to our time together and I will miss his friendship and his wry grin when we completed a successful bid against much more skilled players. My condolences to Brenda and the family.

Condolence: I was very shocked and saddened to hear of David's passing....My Condolences to Brenda and his Family. When I first met David at Badminton, I felt like I had know him forever and he became an instant friend. I, as well as many others, learned a lot watching David play badminton....When you were sure that he was going to hit it hard and to the back for the court, he would do a cross court drop shot, just over the net and no were near where you thought it would be.....you would look over at him with his little smirk and smile and you knew that he got you again. I feel privileged to have know David and I will remember him fondly as a kind, funny and gentle soul...Rest in Peace my friend

I only knew David from playing badminton but it was plain to see he was a wonderful man. I was always impressed with his easy approach to the game and his calm demeanour and smile especially after he'd won the point with that deceptive drop shot of his. He'll be truly missed.
