Condolences

Condolence From: Valerie and Robert Witterick
Condolence: Every summer for decades now we have travelled around the eastern end of Lake Ontario to stay at a cottage in the Chautauqua neighborhood of NOTL. When Ted made his move from near us in the Riverdale area of Toronto to the idyllic environs of NOTL, our sojourns there were tremendously enhanced. Our get-togethers at his home and at his favourite local haunts became the highlights of our trips, as Ted regaled us with marvelous humourous stories and rememberances dear to him. Oftentimes we met up there with mutual friends of ours and Ted's from the old days at Smith Lyons, one of the three law firms where Ted had been a brilliant, progressive lawyer and esteemed colleague. Our heartfelt condolences to his family. He will be missed immeasurably. Valerie and Robert Witterick

Condolence From: Richard H. Baker
Condolence: I was distressed and saddened to learn of Ted's recent death and wish to express to his children and family my deep sympathy on their loss. I came to know Ted only quite recently in a German conversation group only to discover that we shared ancient and long-standing memories of a common legal employer, but more agreeably, an abiding love of Beethoven. His kind smile, humour, deep knowledge and unaffected manner will remain with me.
