Sunrise - June 5, 1930: Sunset - September 10, 2020
Carmine John Crocco, a college professor and businessman, was born in Figline Vegliaturo, an idyllic village in the Province of Cosenza Italy. He was called to heaven on September 10, 2020 to join his beloved son Jeffrey, brother Albert and parents Giovanni and Diletta Crocco. His grandparents Gabriele and Luisa Manza and Carmine and Elizabetta Crocco.
He leaves his devoted wife of 62 years Diana and his extraordinary family - John (Anne Marie) of St. Catharines and late Jeffrey (Laura) of Niagara-on-the-Lake. His cherished grandchildren, Dr. Christina Malek (Chris) of Miami Florida, Carmine John- C.J. (Jasmin) of Toronto, Victoria and Christopher, and a special brotherly friend Mike Gray (Dorelle) of Nanoose B.C.
He was forever grateful to his hard-working immigrant parents, his heritage and the unwavering support of his loving family for a life well lived.
Funeral arrangements are in the care of Morgan Funeral Home in Niagara-on-the-Lake with a Christian burial in the family plot at Niagara Lakeshore Cemetery. A morning funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, Niagara-on-the-Lake on Monday, September 14, 2020. Individuals wishing to attend Mass in person are limited to the Covid-19 restriction of a maximum of 42 individuals in attendance. Names attending are to be submitted in advance to the following email address crocco090@gmail.com by Sunday, September 13 at 6:00 p.m. A reply email will be sent with the number, under 42, for admittance along with the time of the Mass. Admission by name at the Mass will be permitted by Morgan Funeral Home attendants. All visitors must wear a face mask and practice physical distancing.
