ALVAREZ German - (Retired Physician) Passed away peacefully at the NHS-St. Catharines Site on Saturday July 20, 2013 in his 87th year. Beloved husband of the late Berthe Alvarez (nee de Chavigny de la Chevrotiere) (2011). He is survived by seven children; German, Denise, George (Lori), Helen, Michael (Sandra), Louis, Suzanne (Stephen);eight grandchildren; Justin (Lindsay), Georgina (Ryan), Michael, Robert, Jeanine, Damien, Matthew and Louis; and a great granddaughter, Anika. Also survived by a sister-in-law Margot Lebas, and a sister-of-the-heart, Adelina Campini.
Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday July 25, 2013 at St. Vincent de Paul Church, 73 Picton Street, Niagara-on-the-Lake. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Kidney Foundation of Canada.
