The Grief Journey
At Morgan Funeral Homes, we have hopefully already been there to support you, or "help you cry" through the funeral of the person you are grieving. We also hope to be able to offer you, or someone who is walking alongside you, support during the grief journey ahead.
Hurt, Hope, Healing - Health
The world as you once knew it has changed. Never to be had again. Although it may not seem like it right now, it is possible to have a sense of peacefulness, meaning, and yes- even joy, in your life again.
Support Groups
Support Groups enable individuals to learn more about the grief process in a supportive, sharing and safe environment. Discuss daily challenges, the grief process, healing memories, the emotions of grief, building support, changed roles, taking care of yourself, and the building of new relationships as you head towards a meaningful life.
Supporting Others
This section contains specific advice on how to support a person who is grieving. There will be information on communication skills, hands on questions that are valuable to ask, and some of the warning signs of complicated grief, as well as some care for the caregiver’ tips for yourself.
