Marguerite Marie  Marlatt
MARLATT, Marguerite Marie- Peacefully, on October 25, 2017 at her home at the age of 87. Predeceased by her husband Clay (1994). Loving mother of the Whipps children, Georgia Wior (Glenn), Cathy Reid (Jim), Chuck Whipps (Lorrie), Suzanne O’Callaghan (Des) and Danielle Waters. Cherished Gran to Caitlin (Peter), Robyn (Mark), Daniel, Graeme Michael, Jared, Conor (Alicia), Sean (Chelsey), Shane, Ben, Kathleen, Chelsea and Shelby, and great grandmother to Reid, Caleb, Caden, Seth and River. She will be missed by her cousin Maureen Brogan in Scotland.
Marguerite was a committed volunteer in the communities she called home. Her life was enriched by the roses in her garden and her love of all animals, especially Dexter.
Special thanks to all those who cared for Marguerite during her illness.
Cremation has taken place. Marguerite’s family will receive friends at Morgan Funeral Home, 415 Regent Street, Niagara-on-the-Lake on Sunday, October 29th from 2-4 pm and on Monday, October 30th from 7-9 pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Vincent de Paul Church on Wednesday, November 1st at 11 o’clock. Private family interment at a later date. For those who wish, memorial donations may be made to Cystic Fibrosis Canada or to the Lincoln County Humane Society.
