Condolence: Vera was an integral part of so much of our community over the years. I enjoyed the times spent with her at the Niagara on the Lake Hospital Auxiliary and admired Vera's dedication to all the tasks she undertook. She was a grand lady and will be missed by all who had the opportunity to meet and know her.

Condolence: To Vera's family I want to relay a story about this wonderful woman. Vera and I took Dancefit together for a number of years way back when..... We would stand in the back of the class and do our own thing while laughing a lot. We exercised somewhat but had more fun watching than benefiting our bodies with movement! This typifies her view of life: have fun and do your own thing! I will always remember her as a warm, caring lady with a good sense of humour.

Condolence: We are presently in Cairo, Egypt. So many memories of Vera from the bridge table to the hospital auxiliary to the golf club, she always kept us on our toes. Vera had a great sense of humour and loved a good chat over a cup of tea and cake. Vera was always there to help and her wealth of knowledge about the town was unparalleled.
