Our family welcomes you!

The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Eric Meth can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence From: David Coutts VA7UX
Condolence: I was very sorry to learn of Eric's passing. I worked with him professionally through his radio shop in Cornwall. His desire to keep older two-way radios alive was impressive. He also embraced the newer digital technology and was always a source of knowledge in the two-way radio arena. His love of amateur radio was our common thread and made interactions so much more meaningful and enjoyable. Eric, you will be missed.

Condolence: I was surprised and saddened to hear this morning of Eric's passing. Eric helped our local ham radio club immeasurably with the D-Star system, of which he was the Grand Guru.
When I started a new job at Bell 4 years ago, I discovered he had worked a project here in St. John's some 40 years ago; I called him and got his advice on that issue in 2015... he has left a lasting mark on Amateur, and professional radio in Canada. RIP, VE3EI.
