Condolence: Bill was a lovely man whom I am sure will be greatly missed by his family. Always smiling and kind he was a true gentleman. I had the pleasure of meeting Bill through my late father in law Jack Dow. He was known to frequent Jack Dow Auto where he and my father in law enjoyed many friendly matches of crib. On one occasion at Jack Dow my grandfather, Charles Forrest who was visiting from Scotland had the pleasure of meeting Bill. The two formed an instant friendship having both fought in a war. My grandfather was a Royal Marine in World War II. I know they wrote back and forth to each other and Bill would meet with my grandfather for a coffee at Timmies when he was visiting Canada.
